Charles

Biography

Charles Fai Keung Siu received his B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2004 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his M.Phil. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2006 from the same university. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

His research interests include constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) and frameworks of soft constraints. He is currently working on the application of reduced ordered binray decision diagrams (ROBDDs) in modeling and solving problems in CSPs. Previously, his work focused on the weighted constraint satisfaction problems (WCSPs) and introduced set variables to WCSPs for modeling problems in set domain.
