I. Technical Activities:

The Chapter held eight technical seminars, organized the Joint 1997 Asia Pacific Software Engineering Conference and International Computer Science Conference (APSEC & ICSC’97), co-sponsored the Asian Conference on Computer Vision 98 (ACCV’98), MIC’ 97, and ASP-DAC’99 , and organized three technical visits in 1997.

II. Society Activities

Student Scholarships:

The Chapter invited the computer related departments of the six universities in Hong Kong to nominate students to received the scholarships.

Conference Bursarships:

The Chapter sent out application forms to the computer related departments in the six universities. Two applications have been approved.
