2004 Chairman Report of IEEE HK Computer Chapter

Dear Chapter Ex-Co colleagues and fellow IEEE members,

It is my pleasure and an honor for me to serve as the Chairman of the Computer Chapter in 2004. The Chapter has organized and supported various technical activities for its members, including seminars, workshops, ITFC Election Forum, and a technical visit to the Cyberport. The Chapter has also involved in a number government and local activities, such as being a member of the Advisory Committee of the ITFC Legislator, an IT advisor of the Non-Government Organizations in Welfare Sector, and a member of the working group in formulating a certification scheme of IT professional in HK.

I would like to thank the members of the Executive Committee. Without their effort, the above events would not have been possible. With the support and commitment of the Executive Committee, I am sure the Chapter will continue to improve and provide the best service to its members and the IT community for the years to come.
