ITM3010: Database Management (Spring 2003)

This course emphasis on a practical approach to databases, aiming at IT and MIS students.
Though there will be technical stuff and database design ("How"), we shall avoid programming.
"What" and "Why" is very important - especially for minor students that are going to use IT and communicate with technical people.
I hope the knowledge you learn from this course will help your FYP, further studies, and future job.
Midterm: Full mark is 90 and your marks will be indirectly scaled up because most of you cannot finish. The rest will be bonus marks.
- But I got a problem - there's an outstanding student, Mr CHOI Chung Hing scoring 99 marks, amazing!!! (Other excellent students: 94.5, 92.5, 91.5 marks respectively.) Even I myself are not confident in getting 99 marks...
