Information for Poster Authors

• Boards will be available on Jan 7 afternoon; authors are required to set up the poster in Jan 7 afternoon.
• We will provide tapes/pins to attach papers onto the boards and that is all we will provide, so please make your posters "ready-to-paste".
• Poster authors are required to stand-by their posters during the poster session (please consult the advance program); a cheese-and-wine reception is offered in parallel to entertain the audience.
• The layout of the board can be downloaded here (in ps or pdf).

Camera-Ready Papers. The MDM'01 proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Springer-Verlag publishes a full-text electronic version of LNCS in parallel with the printed version, thus the electronic source of accepted papers is required (Springer-Verlag strongly prefers the LaTeX 2e format, but Word format is acceptable). See the Springer site (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html) for author instructions. Please follow the author instructions carefully.

There are three categories of papers with the following page limits:

• Regular papers: 12 pages
• Industrial papers: 6 pages
• Posters: 2 pages

Please send your camera-ready papers to Kian-Lee Tan by Oct 16, 2000. You must send a printed copy and an electronic copy of your paper. Please send the printed copy (on U.S. letter or A4 paper) to:

Please send the electronic copy as a compressed archive via e-mail to tankl@comp.nus.edu.sg. You may use any standard compression technique (zip, tar/gzip, tar/compress, etc.), but please send only a single file. Please name your archive according to your paper number, e.g., mdm01paper101.zip. Also, in the subject line write "MDM'01 Camera Ready Paper 101".

Springer requires a signed copyright form with each paper. Only one author needs to sign the copyright form. Visit the Springer Web site to get the copyright form. For the first two fields, write the following:

You may either mail this to Kian-Lee Tan with your printed camera-ready paper, or fax it to his attention at 65-779-4580.
