Xiaopei Liu

I am now working as postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I finished my Ph.D study in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. My current research interests focus on numerical simulation of fluid flows, particularly on the simulation of turbulent flows, high velocity flows, and thermo-flows using Boltzmann dynamics, as well as the related rendering and visualization techniques. Previously, I have done a set of work on image analysis and synthesis, which were mainly focused on texture and illumination related problems. In addition to research work, I am also interested in developing computational engine to serve for different disciplines.
