Hi all! We are from a local FinTech startup, OneDegree and we're co-organising a seminar with CUHK Business School on Jan 25. The seminar will introduce the FinTech industry landscape and the speaker, Alvin will share his personal experience in transitioning from i-banker to a startup founder in Hong Kong. We will do a bit of recruitment that day as well, fulltime junior developers and interns are what we're looking for. So see you all on Jan 25!

Speaker: Alvin Kwock, Ex J.P. Morgan APAC Head of Emerging Technology, Founder of a FinTech Startup
FinTech, the application of information technology to revolutionize and redefine financial services, has surged in recent years and become the heated topic during coffee time in IFC, on Bloomberg headlines and across global financial hubs. Many financial industry veterans had chosen to become a Fintech trailblazer, foreseeing the thriving prospect.

Alvin Kwock, a 11-year JP Morgan veteran, had chosen to leave Investment Banking two years ago and founded a FinTech startup in Hong Kong with a group of young and passionate professionals. On the 25th, Alvin will bring you along with him to revisit his career journey from extravagant Investment Banking to more exciting FinTech startup founding. He will talk about how he had made up his mind in several key career moments, and what exciting stuffs he has been doing to try to redefine a financial sector.
