Campus Access from Term 2 and Cancellation of Face-to-Face Class Enrolments [Postponed the VTR submi

Please do not ignore this important message unless you have submitted your vaccination details or 14-day regular testing results in the Vaccination/Regular Testing Report System (VTR) as required by the University.

In accordance with the University’s announcement of 10 November “Preparation for Term 2 2021-22”, to safeguard the health and safety of the University community, members who do not submit a vaccination report/14-day regular testing results will be denied campus access from Term 2, 2021-22. Students who do not submit vaccination details or testing results will (i) only be able to choose from a very limited number of online courses, and (ii) their enrolment in all face-to-face courses will be cancelled in December after verification.

We were told that RES will take action after the deadline of 20 December 2021. If you are still under the following categories by 20 December 2021, all your face-to-face course enrolment (including waiting lists) will be cancelled by RES. You shall then have very limited number of online courses to choose if you wish to continue your studies in Term 2 2021-22:

• No submission;
• No test within 14 days; and
• One dose with no test [Note: Students who have taken the first dose of BioNTech can take the second dose upon reaching age 18].

Students who meet the vaccination/14-day regular test reporting requirement after the given deadline may enroll face-to-face courses again following the usual arrangement in the add/drop period where applicable. However, there is no assurance that the enrolment attempt will be successful (e.g., the quota released by the cancellation may have already been taken up by another student on the waitlist).

To minimize the possibility of any disruption to course enrolment, please take immediate action and submit the vaccination details or 14-day regular testing results in VTR as required by the University by 20 December 2021.
