Eric Lo is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).  His research mainly focuses on big data, supercomputing, database, cloud computing, distributed systems, operating systems, distributed machine learning, data science, and system security.

Eric received his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich‘s Computer Science Department.  He was a member of ETH’s Systems group.  Before joining CUHK, he held positions at Google, Microsoft, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
